General History Articles

From time to time members of the Southam Heritage Collection and others write short articles covering aspects of history from Southam’s past. These articles may be longer and contain more photos than the monthly Cardall’s Corner articles published in the District Advertiser which makes them unsuitable for publishing there. They may also contain audio or video items which again make them unsuitable for printing in the Advertiser. We will publish these articles in this section so that they are accessible to everybody.

We would also like to encourage anyone, whether members of the Southam Heritage Collection or not, who would like to contribute similar articles to contact us with their ideas which we would be very happy to consider for inclusion on this page.
