During the re-enactment of the Battle of Southam by members of the Sealed Knot there was brief demonstration of how muskets were used in battle, in particular how they were loaded, something which had tobe done for each bullet that was fired. It was a quite long and complicated process as these people standing outside the doors of St James Church found out.
