Membership of the Southam Heritage Collection is open to everyone. By joining us you will be supporting the work of the Southam Heritage Collection. Everything costs money and collecting, documenting, preserving and telling the story of Southam’s development over the years is no exception.
The Southam Heritagel Collection is a charitable body (Number 1173033) and can benefit from Gift Aid tax relief on any donations. Every donation is increased in value by 25% if you pay tax at the standard rate and tick the appropriate boxes on the membership/donation form which is available by clicking on the button below.
Annual membership of the Collection is available for £15 per year per person, £20 for couples and £5 for over 70s. Annual membership includes a copy of our twice yearly newsletter delivered electronically (it saves money) or on paper if you do not have access to email. In addition we run special preview events of our exhibitions for members, usually in the evenings so that even if you are working it should still be possible for you to get along and see what we are doing and speak with the organisers.
All your money goes towards paying our on-going running costs. Whilst it is often possible to obtain grants for specific projects, it is not possible to get grants for paying on-going costs such as rent, rates, insurance, electricity etc. All these considerable costs (several thousand pounds per year) have to be met out of funds which we raise. We receive no regular income from any Local or National Government source.
If you would like to support our work please consider joining by clicking on the button below and printing off the membership/donation form and returning it to us. If you can make your payment by standing order we would greatly appreciate it since it saves us significant effort each year in following up lapsed payments.
